self-care in motherhood is not about escaping reality. It is not about a “once per month” activity. And it is not a selfish act.
I return to work after one and a half years of training myself intensively to live an intentional life. A life with purpose. A life without remorse and guilts for being simultaneously a mother and woman with needs and wants.
Nevertheless, there is still a long way to go as far as actual gender equality is concerned. The statistics and figures do not lie
