The day starts with stress, continues with more, and finishes with a new wave of anxiety for the next day. So much pressure is put on us by our partners, children, relatives, friends, employers, colleagues, social media, unrealistic societal standards and expectations and the FOMO -fear of missing out.
There is a motto that no is a full sentence. I disagree. Sure enough, you want to decline a request without coming across as a hostile and rude badass.
Toxic people are not easily or quickly recognised. They trap you in their poisonous spiderweb and make it quite difficult for you to break free; they enslave you in their micro-world, where you think you belong but, deep inside, you feel that you should not be a part of.
